Lillian Grace has arrived

Lillian (Lily) Grace Kegley arrived on Tuesday, Februrary 26, 2008 at 8:24 am. She weighed in at 8 lbs and 1 oz (really 1.5 ounces but who's counting? ). She was 19.5 inches long and is doing wonderfully well. Cathy is also doing great. They will both come home tomorrow and Sarah, Brian and Daddy can't wait for the whole family to be together. We'll have more photos this weekend and great little video of the first time Sarah got to see her baby sister.

Lillian Grace Kegley coming soon...

Okay, the last time I said, "Coming soon!", It took me 8 months to make a post. Well, that won't happen this time. Lillian (Lily) Grace Kegley is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, February 26, 2008. That's 9 days from now! Brian and Sarah are very excited about her arrival. Sarah is already learning to say "Lily" although is sounds like "Eihy". :-)

Where have we been?

My oh my, how time has slipped by. When last we posted, we were supposed to show some photos from summer vacation...well, things have gotten pretty hectic around here, a new baby on the way, adding a bedroom on to the house...
Anyway, here are some photos of Sarah on her 2nd (Yes, she's 2 already!) birthday. She really loves her Dora Big Wheel!

And some other pics I promised from vacation last summer.

Lordy, Lordy, Larry is 40!

My big MAN turned 40 in June. We had a small gathering of friends and family and made him do the cooking! It was very hot outside but we all had a good time.

Brian is 12!

My baby boy turned 12 on May 31st. We had a small party for him with family and couple of his friends. He was really excited about his new bike. Grandmother gave him a chair for his room which he loves.

Brian tried out his new bike....he made the jump in one piece!

Grandma G is Here!!

Larry's mom visited in May. It was great having her here and we really missed her when she left! We did get to tour Elvis Presley's birthplace in Tupelo while she was here and it was very interesting.

Spaghetti Face

I just had to post this picture of our beautiful daughter after she had a plate of spaghetti!

Double Decker Festival

Here are some pics from the Oxford Double Decker Festival held in April. It was a great time had by all! Brian met up with friends and got to walk around sans parents. Sarah tried her hand at being a clown (not a far stretch for her!) and she loved the little petting zoo.
Our little clown!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail

Brian, Sarah and I colored eggs today, then Brian and Sarah did some pre-Easter egg hunting!

Sarah's Swing

Larry put a swing up for Sarah and she absolutely loves it!

Mowing the Lawn

It's that time of year again....but Larry is so happy because Brian is old enough to mow the yard! Of course he wants to get paid!!

Sarah watching her daddy mow the yard.

Catching Up

I know it's been a while since we have posted. Who knew it would be so difficult to keep up with this! :-)

Here are some pics just to catch up:

Sarah had her 1st birthday. The theme was Baby Einstein meets Disney! She had a great time... and even though her brother tried to get her to put her hands in the cake, she remained very much a little lady and refused!

Sarah has definitely become more mobile. She has taken her first few steps, but still is not ready to let go yet....that's ok, neither am I!

New pictures and videos coming soon. We returned from a great
Thanksgiving holiday in Las Vegas with Larry's family. On Thanksgiving
day, we had around 30 people at Vanessa and Kendrick's house. Sarah was
a little overwhelmed with all the people, but it was a great day. We
finished the day by going to Opportunity Village where we had a wonder
Christmas photo with Santa. Wait until you see little Sarah!

Eating Real People....Food that is

Sarah had her first meal with us at the table tonight. Momma had cooked a delicous roast with potatoes and carrots. Sarah didn't have any roast, but she loved her veggies! See some photos below the quick little movie.
